Multā Nocte is a collection of works inspired by those strange and compelling hours when the world is quiet and when the owls are out. That period of time between the darkness of the night and the light of day that always seems to spark the imagination.
The EP compiles 4 new works and 3 collaboration pieces from Everyday Dust and contributors Western Skies Motel, Oberlin and Above, Convenience Store! Each with a different story to tell. Join us on this night vigil and watch out for the owls.
Multā Nocte and companion EP Combinatio Nova form the first two installments in the “Dustworks” series.
"...the picture of this world in my mind is something like a surreal steam-punk dream from the mind of Jules Verne or H.G
. Wells - a place of dense fog, flickering gas lights, ticking clocks, chiming bells, and turning gears beyond which lie vast and mysterious landscapes to be explored."
- Stationary Travels
"Multā Nocte and Combinatio Nova exemplify what I consider to be Dust’s trademark sound: far-stretching synth noise that borders on wind, and somehow sounds like a distant sandstorm in a sweltering midsummer while simultaneously sounding like snowfall outside the window in the dead of night."
