In this day and age, when it's possible that some people may spend their whole lives in cities, never experiencing the frightening peace of true wilderness, mankind is loosing primal contact. Our instincts are morphed through technology, our bonding rituals scattered into virtual reality. We are full speed ahead on a journey of self-realization, but we're using tools that in a global context we have no control over. Silence and solitude are rare commodities and it seems as though some of us are forgetting these spaces of inner confrontation ever existed.

However, through sound as a means for slowing down, we might alleviate our craving for nurture in nature. Music still holds the power of creating a communal tribal vibe even in an urban context, and so we can use modern technology to build bridges within ourselves as well as to reach each other instead of allowing it to separate us.

This album is a journey through the archaic into a modern biomechanical fusion. Reaching for technological advancements with roots still firmly grounded. The pieces on it, created by Dronny and Utu as a collaboration over the web, reward careful listening and opening to an inner space. Quality headphones are strongly recommended.
