"It’s a multi-dimensional four-move set with a well sequenced dynamic—building from the opening “Exit Through Lobby” through to “Solar Sister,” a dark scrawl of ambient drone with an intense broken beat tangle kicking in late in the day, with the neo-Kosmische almost-techno of “Infinity Elevators” and a vibrant collage with chum, [MIIIIM], “Vardøger / Assembly Point (with [MIIIIM]),” the Twin Peaks in between."

When it comes to ghostly, sinister(?) atmospheres, I believe Dead Melodies is that brooding shadow observing me from that derelict bell tower. I sense a kind of melancholy subtly coiled around the scarier moments of this beautiful production. slc_winterized
