"In the past year I've gone through some heavy personal turmoil and difficulties which have quite thoroughly snuffed my inspiration in making music for myself. It seems like there's a tipping point after which emotional extremes and mental illness are no longer productive forces but instead gnaw at, and little by little destroy, everything that's important for the free flowing of creativity.
However, I've still enjoyed performing live, perhaps more than ever. Somehow it has seemed pointless to produce and explore sound by myself, but sharing the experience live with other people has been a great refuge as well as a route of release. So here I would like to present a triptych consisting of three excerpts taken from various performances in the past year.
My live shows are a fusion of varied improvised live instrumentation, percussion and singing, rituals, pre-orchestrated sound design, samples and field recordings. I also record and broadcast what I'm performing as I'm performing it, and manipulate the whole live to give more depth to the soundscapes.
Solitude and headphones are recommended for a full aural experience."
