As most of you may be aware, us woodsmen at Sparkwood Records have quite an interest in the mystical world of Twin Peaks. Over the years there have been many references to the place both wonderful and strange in our releases - in track titles, cover art and the atmosphere of the music we release itself.

So it seems very appropriate we should share with you this special Everyday Dust cover version of Into The Night by Angelo Badalamenti and Julee Cruise.

The classic Twin Peaks song is re-imagined with an ethereal choir of analogue synthesizers, brooding bass and noise-generated percussion. A sonic landscape reminiscent of 80’s horror soundtracks - a genre as close to Everyday Dust’s heart as Twin Peaks itself. And with the third Everyday Dust album not far away you can be sure to hear elements from both these influences again. In the meantime look out for those owls.

This cover version was originally made in 2018 and has now been freshly squeezed for 2020.
